I spoke yesterday with an electrophysiologist yesterday about the efficacy and safety of ablation for abating AFib He mentioned the significant advancements in ablation technology occurring in just the last six months. He was referring to the now wider use of pulse field ablation here in the U.S.
My question is to what extent is pulse field ablation more effective and possibly more safe and durable than other ablation techniques and are the differences significant?

If you use the search box you will find quite a few comments re PFA, even one earlier today. There are great hopes but so far whilst there may be less adverse effects and recovery may well be a little easier the over all results are no better than other methods of PVI.
