anyone use FibriCheck app … weird reading

Hi all, does anyone else use the Fibricheck App, I believe it is approved by doctors.

I get readings like this and it says everything is regular but the line has a lot of irregularities.

I don’t know if I should be concerned about this reading or not.

Thank you for any help.

The height of the lines are just the amount of signal it's picking up from your fingerprint. The measurement is done a different way to ECG which is the gold standard. So look instead at how many beats you get in each 5 second chunk. You're pretty regular at 1 beat per second. There is only one 5s chunk where the beats are not as evenly spaced out.

If in doubt have a bit of a break so your fingers are fresh, then do it again.

I have been using Fibricheck for many years and they can be really scary looking.I get much worse.Analysis says regular.

It just shows a couple of ectopics or maybe just different beats which we all get.The thing to remember also that actually using it is quite hard to keep the amount of pressure from your finger even.

Nothing to worry about.

I will try & provide some examples.

Hi Crumbling,When I get slightly off readings, such as these, that I'm concerned about I ask Fibricheck for an expert opinion.

Lately these results are initially classed as normal but, after a requested review, often come back as ectopics.

I've never had an initial normal result come back after review as afib

Hope that helps.

That looks to be normal - a regular rhythm caused by a P wave from your sinus node setting of normal beats. Lucky you! 😉

The height of the peak (R wave) is assistant of no consequence, only the regular of it.
