Looks like normal rhythm with PACs to me which are often benign. "P" waves nice and pronounced. If you're stressed or uncertain, show them to your doctor. I see you're from the US -- can you upload it to MyChart for review? I can see the tracing is from Apple Watch, but if you also happen to have a Kardia, they offer a cardiologist review service for a reasonable fee.

Thanks Jim. I’m actually from the UK. You seem very knowledgeable on these things. Would you think looking at that chart , the reason I’m feeling out of sorts

Sorry about that, I somehow thought you were from the US, but I will not hold that against you 😄

Some people hardly notice ectopics/PACs at all, but others find them bothersome in various ways.

Feeling "weird" is a nonspecific symptom, so I can't comment too much, nor am I a doctor, but others have reported similar non-specific feelings with ectopics.

That said if you start to feel pain, shortness of breath, or any distress, best to see a medical evaluation.

Personally, I've gotten many EKGs just like the one you posted. For me, I describe it as kind of a "jumpy" feeling.

Lots of lovely P waves so no AF.

I could show you plenty like yours Babs, sometimes with runs of them which feel unpleasant and unhealthy! What you are experiencing is palpitations caused by ectopic beats, likely arising in the top of the heart near to where your AF arises. Each of these beats can lower the BP within the arteries supplying the brain so suddenly that it reacts by feeling, as you say, "slightly weird", perhaps even causing you to feel a touch light-headed.

I think your doctor would say they were "benign" and so of no consequence, but my, they can be hard going, I find.

My first experience of palpitations, some 20 yrs before I subsequently experienced them with AFlutter, was when I had an over active thyroid. Might be worth considering? Other symptoms would be loosing weight, eating lots and feeling hot.

If its a one lead Kardia device that has been used, in my experience (non medical) often atrial flutter does not show (mine was always on lead 2, 3 and 4 of my 6 lead Kardia) . Try to get your GP to carry out an ECG or see if someone who has a 6L Kardia can give you a reading.

I don't agree. The T wave is prominent and at times it is immediately followed by a PVC. Not a PAC. The P wave is missing after the T waves at times.

Are you saying this is not Normal Sinus Rythem with ectopics?

The times a P wave is missing is before the ectopic beat which you would expect?

Yes. You would expect a missing P wave before an ectopic PVC and not with a PAC.A Premature Atrial Contraction is an early P wave which is clearly missing at times.

So would that explain feeling out of sorts?
