Hi this is really for those who are a bit anxious of having a cryo ablation.I had my first ablation yesterday at Bristol. I expected to have a headache after, but nothing ! I had sedation, I was hoping to watch and experience it, but only woke up back in daycare. So begins a hopefully uneventful recovery. Some AF today, but that's to be expected, down to the serious stuff of putting my feet up.

Well done! It's good to feel it wasn't all that bad. My cryoablation was exactly a week ago and I am more than very pleasantly surprised to say I have had no sensations from the heart at all, so far. Just a bit tired and lethargic but deliberately taken it very easy. The only downside was coming round from the procedure with a croaky voice that turned into an upper respiratory tract infection which was treated with antibiotics, now ok. Will drive my car for first time today (small gains).
Good for you. Try to rest upas long as you can and let yourself heal. Best of luck.
Good news! In my experience the heart needs you to keep resting up longer than the rest of you does, so heed all the good advice and take it easy!
mine was in 2013 and kept me in NSR for 8/9 years. So 🤞 it does same for you all
