I’ve had two ablations and maybe heading for a third. I’ve been on various dosages of flecainide for eight years. During a prolonged afib attack doc says to take 100 mg or more of flecainide. I once had been prescribed 300 mg all at once. When I take these high dosages my legs get weak and I have to sit. Does anyone have this symptom who are on flecainide?

weakness in the legs
no. I have taken up to 400 mg of Flecainide daily for a period of 3 weeks and did not feel any weakness in my legs.
We all react VERY differently to any and every substance. 300mg in one go is normally only to stop an episode and is usually only given for the first time under medical supervision, in my case my GP. 300mg is also normally the maximum daily dose for AF. For prevention of AF dose normally starts with 50mg twice daily rising to 100mg daily with an extra 100mg to stop break through episodes. I guess you are taking as a PIP?
I think if you are having that reaction to 100mg maybe you should check your BP and then talk to your doctor. Flecainide made me feel quite ill at first and it does need to be taken on an empty stomach - I once made the mistake of taking soon after I had eaten and felt so ill, I never made that mistake again!
Flecainide (100mg twice daily) has virtually put an end to AF episodes for me- just the one when I was infected with covid. It might add to my fatigue and mess up my digestion but I’m still here at 80 and able to enjoy much of what life has to offer.
