In the mornings I find that I feel very hot and sweaty and a little weak and shaky after I’ve had a shower and got dressed. I usually have to sit with a cold drink or in front of a fan for several minutes to cool down and can feel my heart beating fast and very irregularly. It usually takes 1.5-2hrs after getting up and I’ve taken my beta blocker before I start to feel normal again.
I’ve tried having ice cold showers, which helped a bit, but it happens all year round.

I get that sometimes and discovered recently I'm prediabetic so am trying to seriously cut down on sugar but for me it's not easy as I inherited a sugar intolerance from my mother who was a diabetic.
I think the shaky feeling I mentioned is more a feeling of physical tiredness where I feel tired like I’ve done a big workout. This only really happens in the morning when I first get up. If I’m active during the day, I might get physically tired but it’s a little different and doesn’t last long once I stop.
My blood pressure I think is roughly okay. I have terrible white coat syndrome and when I get it taken by any doctor it’s often very high but always when I take it at home it’s around 120/80 and no higher than 130/85.
As for beta blockers. I’ve been on Propranolol for years, far longer than I’ve had AF
