Zio patch

To monitor my AFib, I wore a 14 days zio patch which showed no AFib and no av block but did show isolated frequent supraventricular ectopies 21.6% of the time. I have an appointment with my electrophysiologist in 2 weeks. Has anyone had that frequent ectopies?

I had a similar frequency from time to time called premature atrial contractions. I was not treated specifically for them, but sometimes treatment is offered.

I can have. But, typically, I had a 48-hour monitor recently which showed a far smaller burden Typical, I say. My Zoo four years ago coincided with a calm phase, too. It's the luck of the draw with ectopics and AF.

I am seeing my cardiologist in three weeks and will be taking some ECG strips with me that show a very much higher rate of ectopics than the Holter showed. That said, they arise in the atrium, where the AF also arises, so are not problematic as such, even though, to me, they can easily feel the same as AF and so affect what I can do.
