Need to mention this symptom with AF

Hello. Just thought I would mention this only because I'm bothered a bit by it again tonight. Since being diagnosed with AF (from the time I was in hospital from the onset of it, up until right now), every once in a while I get a strange fullness feeling sometimes when I eat. It's as if the food has a slightly hard time going down, and I have to take a sip of water with the food. I have read that there may very well be a connection with AF symptoms being brought on by the food pipe, it doesn't happen often, anybody else experience this?

It is widely known that the Vagal Nerve can have an impact on AF. Suggest you Google it and also the schematic diagram of the vagal nerve. Basically, it is a nerve which acts a bit like an information superhighway between the brain, the gut and the heart. It is widely known that certain foods and drinks can impact on this nerve causing a dysfunction to occur, mainly through inflammation of the said nerve.

I think researchers in the States are more advanced on this topic than in UK.
