Omoron blood pressure monitor.

Has anyone else got a Omoron blood pressure monitor. That has an AF setting. If so. Does yours always show a heart with wavy lines. I presume it means y are in A F.

It just means it’s detected an irregular heart rate. It also usually means the BP readings may be inaccurate. When in AF you need to have manual BP measurements.

True with most blood pressure monitors, however Omron model BP7900 can give you accurate blood pressure readings while in a fib.

Do you have Omron model Model: BP7900? I believe that's the only model in their line that accurately handles afib.

No mine is M7 intelli IT (HEM-7361T-EBK)

Yes that model takes an EKG, but unclear from the literature if the blood pressure measurement would be accurate ehile in a fib. Best to further research or contact Omron.

It could be ectopics, even Kardia sometimes confuses frequent ectopics and AF.

Yes you are correct. I have one which shows Af like that. I use a Kardia 6 lead device as well and find this more useful.
