Hope everyone had a happy Christmas Day and stress free, mine was extremely quiet due to it being my 14th day since I had my ablation. All is going well the only issue I have is I cannot walk more then a few minutes when I feel as if I’m going to black out (hubby is my shadow at the moment lol) my heart goes into overdrive but only racing no palpitations or AF. I cannot remember this happening last time but hopefully this will calm down. Does anyone know what it means AF Ablation with RSVP confused me a bit there. I have been diagnosed with a leaky heart valve after my last Ablation after I had an echo.
Happy New Year and enjoy

Now I’ve read your previous posts on your first ablation it does make sense as it’s the last one of the 4 pulmonary veins to be ablated and the one they didn’t do for you the first time due to the complications and hoped that the 3 would be enough. It would appear they have just done the one they missed to complete your cryoablation. I find that encouraging as I had my first cryoablation on 7th of December and all 4 were done.
Congrats on your second ablation and best of hopes for enjoying it in 2024! I am right around 4 months post my second ablation..am now off the meds and hoping all goes better than my first. I am def more dizzy more regularly than I ever was before ablation land...also my heart rate has never returned to pre ablation levels years ago and it does ramp up quickly. All in all maybe that's ok, as I've read studies that say there's a theory that too low a HR gives the heart cycle more time to find a bad route for AF. -shrug-Like so much in this condition, it's just mysterious and all they have are accumulated stats to go by. Cheers!
Hi, thank you so much for your reply, still going okay, BPM has gone into a steady rhythm between 55 and 70 which is bril for me, it’s only when I’m pushing it too much that it races and get dizzy. You info was much appreciated. Happy New Year and hopefully it’s going to be a good one
