Hi thanks so much to all who replied to my last post when I was hesitant about my ablation.

Had it done privately on Wednesday at St Anthony's hospital but paid for by NHS as I had been on a waiting list for too long.

So glad I got a GA this time as last ablation I had for flutter was under sedation and I kept waking up for the painful bits!

Feeling really well considering just had the procedure. Happy it is over and that I decided to go for it. Your wise words helped me a lot.

Only gripe is that I didn't get to discuss the procedure with the consultant before being discharged. His PA said that discharge letter would be coming to me soon. Fingers crossed that no immediate news is good news. Let's wait and see if this one works.

Hi London. I'm on the list for an ablation. Hopefully soon. Please keep posting how you are progressing after yours. What type did you have? I will be having Radio Active under a General. Merry Christmas and hope the healing goes well.
