We went away for the weekend . I was aware of tachycardia in the night ( only lasted few minutes) I always try to capture any palpitations if I can. This was the wee small hours so all electrical equipment was switched off . A tv , two phones and chargers, several lamps. I was about 22 feet away from all of them but my new 6L wouldn’t work kept saying too much interference to read the ecg . I had my original single lead Kardia with me also and switched to it and it worked without problem. I dimly remember they work differently one is Bluetooth one WiFi or something .

Is anyone else aware of such a problem in hotels etc ? Thanks

I don’t use my Kardia much any more but I’ve noticed that it’s very sensitive, especially near our radio and one of those lamps that touch on/off. I often end up just doing single lead. I paid the subscription for one year, but now that my AFib is permanent it’s not really telling me anything I don’t already know.

The only issue I generally had with my 1 lead was if my iPhone was charging at the time. Always said interference. My understanding is that the 1 lead communicates not by either Bluetooth nor WiFi but by high frequency (inaudible by humans) sound. Maybe some unusual sound source? You weren’t staying in an old haunted hotel over Halloween weekend were you……

Well to be fair it was a grade 1 listed building built in 19 century . May have been spooks and ghosties

Mine goes a little weird if i have the speaker on my computer switched on! Hotels may have all sorts of things on - like alarms etc. and other things you are unaware of that would interfere with things.

Yes . I will continue to carry my original Kardia as back up I think .
