Did you know atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common heart rhythm disorder and leading cause of stroke? Over 1.5 million people in the UK are diagnosed with AF and yet approx. a further 500,000 yet to be diagnosed.

Hi Tracy - I think your heading is a bit misleading. My understanding is that CVD and arrythmia (AF) are completely different categories of heart dysfunction.

Are you ssying 20.5 million people a year die of AF? OR CVD? Many people would find that very confusing and worrying.
