The AFFIRMO project is a collation of several sub-projects and open to all candidates with the following attributes:

If you are aged 65+ have Atrial Fibrillation and live in the UK or EU, then we would like your help.

We have been approached by The University of Manchester to recruit individuals with Atrial Fibrillation to provide an input for a new digital (on-line) health intervention. This digital intervention will use a mobile app that provides customised content relating to atrial fibrillation.

You will be required to attend a 60-90 minute virtual (on-line) workshop to take part in the study. For further details, you can visit affirmo.eu/ Once you have had an opportunity to visit, and you are keen to find out more details, then please contact: Charlotte Stockton-Powdrell charlotte.stockton-powdrell@manchester.ac.uk

Thank you for your support and time, it really is much appreciated.

I am finding the Tai Chi sessions a bit much and sadly don’t think I’m up to anything else as it all seems pretty complicated!

This is the second time I’ve had an email about your very short and sweet reply! Once with the general day’s posts and then an individual one! Thank you but no need for repeats!

If there is anything fairly simple I could do to help the research I may be prepared to give it a go, especially as I am unlikely to continue with the zoom Tai Chi sessions which are difficult for me to follow with the fatigue I suffer from.

I have sent an email to the woman who is mentioned as the contact for the study asking her if I can see the presentation before committing myself and hope that will be acceptable.

Of course, I have met her and she very nice, so I am sure she will be in touch in due course. Thank you again for your time and patience.
