Your last answer to a post on this forum was almost a month ago and I can't see a post from Deeb on here. She may have deleted the whole post of hers. Or could you have answered her post on a different forum?

yes it was on NRAS site but about heart issues and Papworth. I did write on AF site about a month ago, fears of travelling zlone to NZ. Well…… I did it !!!! I leave for home tomoro .. proud of myself.

Bit worried about Auckland weather forecast tomorrow.. a country of volatile climate disturbances now. But never mind, a month of doing things I am frightened to do since covid times. So!!!!!! Life has to be grasped !!

Well done you. I think you'll find that you will experience a great surge of confidence once on the plane. You''ll think to yourself I can do anything and go anywhere.

I travelled to the USA on my own many years ago and that's how it made me feel. It was in the days when you could ask to see the plane cockpit and that's what I did. I was talking to a man who had a ranch in Waco, who said for me to go out and stay there (no fear not that brave) when the Captain walked by and spoke to us. I must have had a real surge of bravado at that moment. Well it mas amazing to see and there was the dishy co pilot sat there. The captain started explaining all the dials and the guy from Waco was most interested, but me I sloped off. Getting off the plane and after collecting my luggage I walked through customs and there up ahead stood the dishy pilot, nerves grabbed me and I prayed he wasn't waiting for me, but he was and drew alongside to walk with me and chat. Well I spied my sister and her husband and in my nervous state I just left him and walked towards them. That was the end of my exciting trip, nothing exciting happened on the way back and hasn't since. Think I've been invisible now for a long time.

Hope the weather in Auckland is good for you. Yes, certainly grab the chances life gives to you.

Have a lovely trip.
