hi

AF has returned and hit me big all of a sudden this last week, having had 3 episodes in 6 days after virtually being incident free since 2016 following on from an ablation. I had to spend one of those occasions in hospital but using flecanide as a PIP got me out of the other 2.

I am planning on seeking out a cardiologist in my area of Leicestershire in the UK and looking online, it appears a Dr Alistair Sandilands seems to specialize in AF and I wondered if anyone on here have had experience with him or if anyone knows where I can view reviews of consultants so I can make my choice of who to seek help from please

You would be better advised to seek an Electrophysiologist(EP) a cardiologist specialising in heart rhythm issues.Glenfield hospital Leicester has a great reputation, Professor Ng heads the dept.A highly regarded EP,he trained my EP Proff Osman at UHCW Walsgrave Coventry also has a good reputation.

Good luck
