Is Flecainde a "controlled" drug? And can I take it abroad on holiday? Going Friday!
Flecainide : Is Flecainde a "controlled... - Atrial Fibrillati...
Flecainide
I can't think of any reason it should be, but since you're asking, call your pharmacist for peace of mind.

Make sure you have a copy of your prescription with you as many countries will not allow things in without.
I have never had a problem travelling with Flecainide in 35 years.
Have visited many countries in Europe and have visited New Zealand via Hawaii & Fiji.
Don’t know about South America but Bob’s idea of taking a copy of your prescription sounds good.

I’ve been to America, Canada and Europe with Flecainide and never been a problem. As said, carry a copy of your prescription. Also always take any tablets still in their packaging and not popped into pill boxes etc. Have a good holiday.
I used to be a Sailor on cruise ships, and travelled with both Flecainide and Verapamil in my luggage, my carry-on AND my pill-in-pocket for both (usually a full blister of each for JUST IN CASE emergencies). Never had any issues in any country I flew into, lived in, worked in, or passed through. Nobody is going to search you for this, at least I haven't and trust me, I have been stopped and searched for many things but never for my medicines. Just make sure to bring the full medicine packet or container with it and if you want to feel calm about the whole thing, a letter from your GP or Cardiologist listing all your current medications. I haven't had any issues in India, Oman, Dubai, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, China, Japan, South Africa, Egypt, Yemen, US, UK, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria, Russia, and many more... you will be fine
I’ve been asked to produce documentation for Flec twice, both times in US. Thankfully I had taken Bob’s advice and taken along the slip the pharmacist gives you alongside the meds which mirrors what is on the prescription.
I take flecainide and no problems taking it through. I always keep all my meds with me in my hand luggage.
Originally I took snd still sometimes do take (if I remember) my prescription with me just in case
Enjoy your holiday
Flecainide isn't a controlled drug (CD) in the UK in the same way as, for example, morphine pain patches are but good advice from other posters. Enjoy your holiday - away from wind, rain, wind, rain . . . . . .
I could think of no reason why it would be. However you should always keep a copy of your prescriptions when traveling. In many cases they will check, to make sure they are prescribed, and not something you are going to try and sell.
