Betablockers from one to another

some people tolerate bishoprop and sotalol well . That was not the case for me , my blood pressure was low and in particular my rate dropped to 40. I have recently had a second ablation and am now on Amiodorone (some side effects) .

If you have not suffered any side effect from bisoprop it’s worth trying sotalol.

Except Solatol, while classified as a beta blocker is not a direct replacement for Bisoprolol. Solatol is a more powerful anti-arrytmic than bisoprolol and may require direct medical supervision when starting. Different drugs for different indications.

Keep a good watch on side effects of amiodarone. The long half-life of oral amiodarone can stay in your system from 25 to 100 days if you need to stop some of the adverse effects make early recognition of any potential adverse effects be picked up early careful monitoring if you suspect something is not quite right don't wait for 6 month check ups... Take Care.
