Good morning Lumps, it is quite normal to have a slower heartrate when sleeping. You should see your doctor if you have a persistent heart rate below 40 bpm and/or if the rhythm is irregular. Please feel free to give us a call or email to talk things through: 01789 867 502 info@afa.org.uk
If not doing so, would be good to ask doctor to wear a holter monitor or other medical device for an extended period to determine any issues.
Personal opinion only, prefer medical devices for most accurate reading.
I think not unless there are pauses beyond a certain length along with the bradycardia. Your GP should advise though.

Heaven knows what my heart rate is during the night when it drops naturally , it is in the 40s during the day . I feel breathless all the time, my consultant is aware and is not concerned .
I wear a Fitbit Versa and my average heart rate varies between 47 and 51 as my heart rate is low 40s during the night. EP was ok about this.
Thanks for all your response’s I have an appointment with my cardiologist in a couple of weeks so I will discuss it with him I am less concerned reading the responses. Thank you
Your heart rate at night will generally go up during REM sleep.
Hi
At night asleep?
Mine is averaged at 47. No worries. But on Metroprolol I had 2 pauses of 2 seconds so a clot could form.
Day H/R needs Diltiazem CCB Calcium Channel Blocker. Now 69 - 88.
Get a 24-48 heart monitor organised.
