Help needed in getting back on site. I have been locked out of the site as GrannyE No link has been sent. Hope I have not offended anyone and if I have it was unintentional and I cannot imagine that offence could have been taken by anything which I have written.

Might just be a glitch of some sort. Just stick to GrannyE1 and hopefully you’ll be fine. Xxx

The mystery deepens as on your profile it says you joined in July 2019. Towards the top right of this page (if you're on a PC) to the left of where it says in blue Write, there's a tick and if you accidently click that then that's you off the forum. There's nothing there to warn you that will happen. People could easily be mistaken for thinking that they have to click there to write a post.

Hi Jean. You are right about that blue tick. I bet that's mislead a few forum users over time. Normally when you press these things a pop up box appears and asks you to confirm that you want to cancel your membership. Maybe it would be suggestion for HU to consider - it's pretty easy to put in place and might avoid any confusion.

I'd just seen that "Tick" myself. What an odd piece of web page design - risky indeed.

If I search "members" you are there, both profiles!

That's frustrating. I'd reach out to the site administrators and just explain the problem. Easiest way to reach them is to just hit the "Report" button on one of your own posts and tell them what the problem is.

I think there must be a glitch on the system because I can't access the site via my iPad but I can via my main PC - curious! Also a friend can't access the site on her tablet. Hopefully now we are through the Bank Holiday these things will be picked up.
