I’ve been off the forum for a while and am just catching up. I am very sorry to hear what you’ve been through from reading your previous post, what a frightening time you’ve had!

I wish you a happy Christmas and do hope the New Year brings better health for you x

Did you have your pacemaker fitted Sue and are you at home now?

Wishing you a happy Christmas and healthy new year.

hi Jean, yes they fitted it on Thursday, not very pleasant, it appears I have atrial flutter too, and disease in upper right chamber, hence needing the ablation in the new year! It’s been a very traumatic week, but so glad I called 999 you just never know! If I hadn’t I wouldn’t be here to tell the tale🤪 merry Christmas to you!

Hi Sue! Just caught up with your post. Wow! Pleased that all OK now. This goes to show that sitting it out is not always the best idea as I've always said. You know what is right for you and you can't take chances with your heart.

Wishing you all the very best for the new year!

My sister-in-law had a similar Christmas event and a present from a cardiologist of a stent. She says she will now stop her habit of smoking and start taking her statins!

I hope you are feeling well and are on the mend!
