I checked my fitbit versa 2 and found they had added a new feature. While your sleeping it tracks your heart rate and tells you how many times you had afib every single beat and the rate as well.
They also tell you your breathing rate as well as how well you slept .
It's not always 100% reliable but mostly it is
Anyone else got this update out of the blue

I thought I'd have more response as well but it's new and only being rolled out randomly to fitbit users.Very good idea though for fitbit owners that simply use it as a fitness watch and not know they have afib as clifetta has found.
I have this on my fitbit inspire 2.first night I wore it it flashed up I should see my health provider asap.this I did ,had an ecg,and now being treated for af while i wait for a heart scan. My gp told me that these devices are saving lives as often the first time anyone knows they have a heart problem is when they have a stroke or heart attack. I thank my lucky stars for my fitbit
it gives you a fright though when it comes up in big letters its meant for diagnosing afib so good its picked it up for you caught early.Myself I turned it off as I know I have it and it was a bit unnerving seeing all my heart beats through the night
