I have decided to get fit and healthy by exercising. Well that`s intention at the moment - let`s see how long it lasts heheh.
Seriously though Fitbit watches seem to be recommended. I`ve had a look online and there seem to be so many different models of watches (and makes).
To tick all the boxes I would like a watch that step counts / calorie counts / displays HR / keeps HR record when asleep / alerts me when heart rate is irregular / does the ironing.
I don`t think I`ll get one that does the ironing but the other features would tick all the boxes for me (-:
Any suggestions please ?
Best,
Paul

I don’t have a Fitbit. I have read that the optical sensors built in to wristwatch heart rate monitors are unreliable. The Apple Watch is apparently much better but of course it costs a fortune.
Thanks Oyster. The Apple watch does sound the best option. However at nearly £300 it is expensive.
I guess the old saying 'you get what you pay for' applies to the watch. I`ve had a look on eBay and Fitbit copies are on sale for 5 quid. Great if they work but I have my suspicions the readings might not be entirely accurate !
I’ve tried two Fitbits. Neither worked properly on me. With each one I had crazy readings, eg it told me I’d done 3000 steps overnight sometimes, and others, after a long long walk, I had been asleep! Manufacturers couldn’t explain these errors. Sounds crazy but true. Haven’t tried the Apple Watch.
