It does sound as if it might be safer.
I must say this sounds good so far. If you Google it the feedback sounds good from the trials. It appears to have been towards the end of last year when it was first tried on patients in the USA. I'll try and find out out a little more and contact Papworth hospital cardio department by email - they often respond but it can take a week or so. If they do I'll post details here. From what I have read it certainly seems another step forward for ablation. The link that Grumble Cat posted is worth a read.
