I've been on Rivaroxaban for paroxysmal AF for a few years now and I'm wondering if my relatively recent experience with balance could be a side effect. Has anyone else noticed this?

Possible side effect of anti-coat.
It’s not something I have heard of before and nor is it mentioned directly in the list of known side effects. Can it happen at anytime or is it only when you are having an episode because there may be a link with changes to blood pressure or heart rate…….
Thank you for your reply flapjack. I believe dizziness is a possible side effect and I guess if that's the possible case then I imagine it could affect balance.
Yes, I double checked and dizziness was mentioned on one list, it will be interesting to see if anyone taking it has a similar problem…. Hope it settles soon.
The only reference I could to dizziness occurring after long term use was to anaemia being cause. I know that GPs are excellent at determining the likely cause of dizziness, so that would be my next port of call, if I were you.
It's a horrible symptom, which I have had rarely but my wife gets now and then, so I do how you get it resolved quickly.

This one caused my partners prostate to swell up and he ended up in the emergency room and had to have a catheter for a few days. Everyone is affected differently by these meds as far as side effects.
I have taken Rivaroxyban for a few years and my balance is not great but I take quite a lot of meds for my heart so don’t know how to tell which,if any, affect my balance.
