Lyrica Cause AFIB

I have been taking Gabapentin for Neuropothy in my feet for 7 years and I also have Afib that I am managing with Tikosyn for normal heart rhythym. Recently I have seen posts from people who have heart rhythm issues from taking Gabapentin. Anybody out there know if Lyrica (also for nerve pain) causes heart rhythm issues? Thank You for your reply.

I can't answer, sorry - but can I ask how effective you find Lyrica to be for your PN? I took Lyrica once for neck nerve pain and I felt unpleasantly weird taking it - dull and zombie like, so stopped. I get quite a lot of hot feet discomfort from PN.

Good for PN foot pain but like you dull and zombie like. I took it at night before bed and when I woke up I was very hung over.

Hi - thanks for replying. That's the exact feeling I had, and it stayed much of the day so I soon decided against it. Interestingly, my wife had the same when given it for her own back pain and one dose was enough for her. She won't go near it again.
