I think this is one of those meds. that people love or hate....in how it affects/helps them. You may have to try it and see how it goes. I tried it and it made me quite ill but this is not everyone experience.

I was on Digoxin for a couple years and had no problems.

I’ve been on it since October and its helping me with my AF so all good 👍🏻

Reduced my heart rate without side effects. Off it now as surgeon took me off to go onto Amiodarone (yikes) before surgery.

It has quite a few contraindications with other meds etc., so I would recommend reading the paperwork very carefully before starting. Had to stop taking it which was a shame as it worked quite well although if my HR dropped, it often went too low.

I had persistent AF and have always been reasonably active. Took digoxin for 6 months (December 21 to June 22).

Found it was very unstable in stabilising my AF and heart rate especially during exercise (brisk walk on a treadmill) and has many food and drug interactions.

Digoxin is suitable for people with a sedentary lifestyle IMO.
