Hi all
After 4 days in AF I am this morning out and back in NSR ( thank god )
Is there anything I should do now to make sure I stay in NSr for a period of time or should I just carry on as normal ?
Thanks
Matt

I would advise that you don't exert yourself too much for as long as you can, no alcohol, caffeine or large meals. Twice I've slipped back into AF walking up hills.

Stay well hydrated and as Corporal Jones would say Dont Panic!
Wrap yourself in cotton wool for a few days!
Avoid stress!
I'd be going nice and slow. Have a look back to think about any possible triggers. Make sure the cardiology department and your EP know of course (if not already done). Basically, listen to you body. Fingers crossed this was a blimp only.
You can't live your life wrapped in cotton wool, so I would carry on as normal! I never found a trigger for my AF, and I think for a lot of people they don't exist.
Having said that, AF is caused by inflammation so you could usefully look at your lifestyle and see what improvements you could make to reduce that - i.e. overweight, too much/not enough exercise, smoking, too much alcohol, poor diet, too much stress.
Hi, I usually feel weary for day or so after an episode, so as Singwell and Jeannie advise, I take it slowly for a while until I feel normal. Try not to worry as this won't help at all. Relax and think about something you enjoy. Best wishes.
