Hi Katz.

I can't say I did personally - we are all different though. It's a good idea to stay hydrated. I wonder if you are drinking more water since your CV ? This of course would account for it and is a good idea.

Well done for your diet - keep up the good work.

Yes probably a bit more water.Maybe that. And usually when you start dieting you loose water first.

I've had several cardioversions and have never been aware of this happening to me.

Never had this happen to me after cardioversion. Much more likely to be from reduced calorie intake!

I’m wondering if you had a bit of heart failure leading to fluid retention before you CV? If so your body could now be getting rid of the excess fluid as your heart is working better.

Hi Buffafly. 2 echocardiograms in Feb21 & end of May showed no heart failure but I was in Persistent AFib for just over 12 months & certainly felt as if fluid retention some if not a lot of the time. Wondered if that might have something to do with it.

Certainly passed more when in AF but not after Cardioversion.

Are you definitely back in NSR?
