Boasted yesterday that I hadn’t had an AF episode for a month to the day! Little devil beard and 2.50 this morning we we’re off. Thankfully Flecainide worked its magic!

Do you think it would be best if I left my 9am dose until nearer say 11am!

Sorry to hear that Di, AF doesn’t seem to have any consideration at all, does it. I guess it would make some sense to spread the dose now that you are back in rhythm as long as you don’t exceed 300 mg in any 24 hour period.

Best wishes to you and Dan, it doesn’t seem possible that 2 years have past since we met up for a Christmas lunch! Wonder what’s happened since then…….😉😳😉

Actually when I think about it we should never brag about anything. It temps fate to take action. Hope you have a lovely Christmas and a happy new year.

It was important for me to regularized medication for Afib episodes; for example, twice a day is taken 12 hours apart, 9 am and 9 pm. If three times a day, eight hours apart. Its effectiveness will not last indefinitely but I think it lasted longer by regularizing.

Drink 48 to 64 oz of clear water a day, without fail.

I took one when the AF started so that’s what stopped by 9 and 9 schedule

Hi, I was told by my arrhythmia nurse to go with how I felt after taking extra PiP. If I don't need my usual dose I wait till the evening or next morning depending on when the episode hit. Hope that helps?

Thanks. I took my next one at lunch time and last one a little later than usual in the evening. Hope that’s it for Christmas.
