Just back from a 500 mile round trip for a surprise birthday party (the surprise being that we turned up) and looks like nobody started WWlll so all good. Moved some furniture on Thursday so been suffering from really bad sciatica left side ever since but lucky my German Missile is auto. 9 hours running time all in legal limits and I can still just about walk. Winter is the only time to travel in UK obviously. Going to watch Stricly results now. Happy Monday friends.

You cannot beat German engineering! Glad you enjoyed your shin-dig bet you were the life and soul of the party. Today you are a breath of fresh air with all the doom and gloom going on with the news. Get well soon and happy week to you too.

I kept a low profile actually as the star of the show was a four foot tall inflatable Kangaroo. Don't ask! lol 😁

That was a good road trip and nice that Skippy made an appearance! Hope the back recovers, sciatica is a b****r and lurks waiting to awake! I have been driving some German motors whilst my car was being repaired from a rearend knock. Had a Merc CLA (auto) then an Audi 40 Quatrro, also auto, great to drive but the Audi not to easy to get out of! Have a good week.

Hope your sciatica calms down. I used to try to hang from the bannisters to stretch my spine when I had it. Glad peace reigned - you never know do you :)

Sounds very…um…interesting, wish I’d been there. Acupuncture fixed my sciatica 3 times, could be worth a try if it won’t go by itself, Bob.

My Bowen man always sorted me but he is covid denier and won't wear a mask so can't see him. Hoping to see osteopath Thursday.

If he won’t wear a mask then he should be reported to his professional association. I’m registered with CNHC and follow guidelines to the letter for my Reiki.

Oh Bob, consider yourself fortunate! How about the poor bast*Rds who got snowed in at that pub for 3 nights! The horror! I couldn't imagine!...I could only dream 😜.."like an adult sleepover" 🤣

We used to have regular lock-ins at the pub we went to on a Friday night circa 1980. The landlady used to make a huge Deperate Dan Cow Pie and we would not leave till it had all gone.

Sadly, here in "The great White North" we have so many plows and snow blowers, snowmobiles, AWD and 4x4 vehicles, that using a blizzard as an excuse falls short. We just stay for days because we are having fun 😁
