Hi DC.

OK - Just my opinon (and others may rightly disagree) but I've never found a FitBit 100% accurate. Depending on your budget the Apple watch tends to be more 'on the ball'.

Like I say others may guide you towards one that matches your needs.

Agree. Not Fitbit in my experience. Apple specifically notifies abs records AF even when u r asleep

Do not rely on Fit bit for Pulse Rate, when not in Sinus as dose not read identify "AFIB PULSE RATE" Kardiamobile identify Possible Afib and records Tachy or Brady Pulse rates.

Yes definitely, as I have been telling Cardiologist, that my Afib Pulse rate was always good, ha, ha put me on the ECG my Fit bit showed 60 and the ECG showed AFIB an in the 130-140BPM

Hi,

FitBit is a range of devices which range in function and price. To get ECG recordings you would need the 'Sense'. iWatch is OK if you already have a recent iPhone but is incompatible with Android phones.

My wife suffers from fast PAF. Her FitBit Charge 2 is enough to confirm her HR is cycling from slow to fast although the actual HR number may be inaccurate.

BTW: We had 2 FitBit CHarge 3's, both went wrong so we reverted to the Change2. Will treat ourselves to the Charge 4 this Christmas. The Charge 5 is out but new and reviews dont inspire me to chance it.

Regards,

Graham

I have a Fitbit Versa 2, which I bought to alert me to phone calls, emails etc as I have my phone on silent when seeing my patients, but with the added bonus of seeing my pulse. It does show your sleep patterns and also how your O2 fluctuates, breaths per min, heart rate variability but does not have an ECG.

Horses for courses but mine suits me.😊.

Thank you all for all your advice about which Fitbit to buy, the apple 4or 5 seams to be the best one, but as I have an old Samsung Android phone it is not compatible, may have to change my phone, or see which one is compatible with Samsung thank you

I've just changed from Versa2 to Sense and that now does an ecg. I've used previous models which identified when my heart rate went high very easily although I always feel Afib anyway but useful confirmation. I haven't had an incident since I got the Sense so up to now has been correctly saying in sinus but will be useful as you can store the pdf to show a cardiologist
