ablation recovery and confusing doctors

i’ve been reading this forum for days and it amazes me how doctors keep telling me, “once you get an ablation, its corrected, you can get back on your feet the very next day” and then i read here and everyone is saying it could take months to a year to feel “normal” again and that weird beats are common and not worrisome. meanwhile, my doctors keep diagnosing me with different things like POTs or IST, but i have a normal sinus rhythm. every doctor i go to keeps giving me different opinions. its quite tiring and annoying.

note: i had a successful ablation for WPW and finally starting to feel some type of normalcy 6 months later. i do endurance cardio 3 times a week.

As I've said many times, few doctors have had ablations. We who wrote the fact sheet have. Who would you believe?

How are you feeling? it is true, everyone recovers at varying rates, if you would like advice on information, have you viewed some of our presentations about treatment options (including Ablation) on the HRC2021 A F Patients Day? You can still register to watch "on demand" via our website. Alternatively, may also find our online booklets and factsheets helpful to download? heartrhythmalliance.org/afa...

I’m inclined to think that responses on this forum are skewed a bit. There are many people on this forum that I’ve seen come and go after having a successful ablation. I had cryoablation last November on a Friday and was able to work the following Wednesday. I work from home at a desk job. My post surgery symptoms were aligned with what most people say, although very mild. I was able to go for a walk after a few days.

On a side note, my doctor said it can be very difficult to diagnose different heart ailments. In my case I had PVCs and a fib and flutter that took time to sort out.
