Hi everyone,

Several people on the forum have emailed me on info@surreyasg about the talk on November 3rd by Dr Matt Fay who many of you know from AF events. I have added you all to the list for the zoom link but just wanted you to feel free to send questions to that email as he has asked for questions in advance- anything AF related- we could still take a few more people- do e mail as above as if you just post here I'm like to miss it!

A Question:I have read that we have a pouch on our Atrium where blood can pool and form clots.

If we take anticoagulants for a period of time blood should not form new clots; what happens to the old pooled blood?

Does it stay there?

Does the body absorb it?

Does the fresh blood dilute and dispose of it?

Thanks,

Andrew
