Has anyone gone from irregular heart beat for a year to normal sinus rhythm with no treatment?

Hi Milds, I don’t think it’s something which has happened to many but if you can recall anything you may have been doing differently over the last year, please let us know and we can all give it a try😉

AF is such an unpredictable condition I think it’s possible for almost anything to happen but whatever the reason, long may it continue 👍

Cardiologist said I had intermittent a fib with arrhythmia no action required. Did nothing different past year except over worked digging in garden and irregular heart beat stopped next day after one year of hell. Praying it never comes back.

One thing I have learned is that AF can be stopped and started with the same action; so ease up on the digging next time but certainly do it again if you get another episode.

Can’t think of anything I did over the past year except overly vigorous digging in garden day before NSR returned. So far so good. Will inform if any changes. When I first got arrhythmia I asked doctor if it may go away on its own and he said “No”, so I’m waiting for it to come back.

May not be relevant but for the first 20 months of my AFib I found that it I went running , then after 7 to 10 mins I went back into NSR. Other people have commented over the years I have been a member, that excercise of different sorts have got them back to NSR, so I am not suprised. If you go back into Afib, try it again.

Thanks! I was contemplating that myself. For now just enjoying not feeling my heart irregularities. Cardiologist said some people never feel their arrhythmia. I am one that feels every irregular beat but feel nothing when in NSR.

I found when I did fast walking arrhythmia seemed to settle down. It returned when I stopped walking. Maybe I just didn’t feel it being in exercise mode.
