Thought I was being careful. Didn't leave home for 2 days, local shops 3rd day, then yesterday walked slow n steady about a mile into town N bus back. Heart kicked out around midnight.

Don't know if I went out too early, felt OK at the time. HR went up maybe a little more than my usual for such light activity. Just reaching out for support I guess n shared experience. Waiting for my cardiology team to get back to me re what next. Have now has 2 cardioversions and one ablation so far. Very scared about waiting lists for 2nd ablation. Anyone else similar?

Tough luck but don't beat yourself up. For some it just doesn't work. At least it tried so ablation is not out of the question.

I've had one ablation. My AF was way worse after it than it was before, so I thought the ablation was a huge mistake. My EP told me my heart was remodeling, and that it might get better soon. I think it took about a month, then it calmed down to where I now get AF maybe once per month, as opposed to the once every day or two pre-ablation, and they're not nearly as bad as they had been before. So maybe you'll go through something similar, and end up with significant improvement if not a cure, but maybe take a few weeks to happen.

Thanks Brad, mine is back to being persistent now. Very high over night 155bpm in bed, though now stabilised to 65-90 bpm on 10mg betablockers

I just want to get out of it now.
