Had two ablations-first lasted 4 years-second lasted 2 1/2 years.

Been on waiting list for almost 2 years for third but not holding my breath!

Also on waiting list for a cardioversion to tide me over -almost given up!!

Pardon my ignorance but what is holding up your ablation/ cardioversion for such a prolonged period of time? COVID backlog? Have you checked in/ applied some gentle pressure to your medical team regarding your extended treatment wait time?

COVID backlog is the explanation for the delay unfortunately. Having said that-the waiting time for the ablation was quoted as 14 months when I went on the list in August 2019.Rest assured gentle pressure has been applied from myself and other sources.Have been prescribed Amiodarone in the meantime-don’t really want to stay on this for too long though.
