Headaches or Fast Rate

16 months ago I had my ablation for SVT.

Done OK until recently however I'm now starting with regular short burts of fast heart rate which last for a few seconds.

My question is just after the racing I get a headache over my forehead like a tension one.

I never suffered with headaches before when I was in SVT so I'm wondering is it the fast heart rate causing the headaches or the headaches causing the fast rate???

Don’t know if this helps but I had an RF ablation end of September last year. At my 3 month review I told my EP that since then when I got a run of Ectopics I always got pain and a pressure feeling in my head which lasted 10/20 minutes. In letter to GP he said, and I quote… “I have not heard of this combination of symptoms from a patient before, so is difficult for me to understand how an ectopic can cause a headache”. He then went on to say I was welcome to take paracetamol etc.

It never happened with just the odd one or two but with a run of few together. Since then more healing and the ectopics have pretty much stopped, hence no headaches/pressure.

Hi thanks for the message. I'm sure there has to be some connection even if the Dr's don't know why.
