Pace & Ablate

Rather curious as to whether anyone else has had the same problem. If so what were the results?

Had a pacemaker fitted 6 weeks ago, activated to 80 - 120 one week ago, original problem AF which followed by two ablations which were unsuccessful. Three days ago I passed out, only for a few seconds, so off to A&E. ECG, bloods, BP sitting down then again standing up, more bloods. All ok.

I passed out a couple of months ago on the golf course which prompted the PM

so now waiting for a Consultant Cardiologist.

My normal one now on annual leave.

Have you told the pacing clinic ? they will need to check the wires and settings.

Hi Bantam, Thanks for your reply, and yes A&E checked the PM and lead, and all working ok.

Personally I would still be talking to the pacing techs as they are the experts and have all the equipment to interrogate the pm. I don't trust anyone else to know if my pm is working as it should.
