AF & Covid

AF is still an issue for those susceptible, even if you escape the worst aspects of this Virus. Covid or just anxiety about it can trigger an AF episode. The good news is that all of this has been avoided in many countries worldwide due to a decades old tried and tested drug, Ivermectin. Sadly, not prescribed as a Covid preventative or for treatment by UK doctors at present.

I had an attack of afib last week. I am sure it was brought on by the stress of our dictator's announcement of obligatory vaccination by the back door. They are not coming and dragging you out of your house to stick the needle in - yet. But in order to live a normal life ie go to a restaurant or cafe, attend a hospital appointment or shop in a big commercial centre you have to have either a certificate of vaccination or a negative test of 48 hours. The latter are free at the moment but will be charged for in autumn. So nearly 100 € added to a restaurant bill for 2! 50€ to have a coffee! Ivermectin has been deliberately suppressed because the emergency authorisation for the vaccines that have not completed their clinical trials would not be given unless there was no recognised treatment. Same story for vit D for prevention and Calcifediol for treatment. They said in 2017 that Macron was Pharma 's candidate.

Yes, so regrettable that it has come to a few great doctors to stand up and be counted on this issue. Battling with AF, Covid and other issues is bad enough without economic interests suppressing beneficial options.
