I’ve taken it for about 5 years now and I wouldn’t attribute my aches and pains to Apixaban. I can’t say I’ve had any noticeable affects, but I have lots of aches and pains due to old age, over stretching myself, arthritis, Myasthenia and a recent fall.

Leg cramps are often a sign of magnesium deficiency - many heart drugs, especially statins can deplete our body store of magnesium and it’s estimated that about 70% of the population will be magnesium deficient simply because of overuse of intensive farming has deselected the soil and we are now feeling the affects.

I can’t take oral Magnesium but find Magnesium oil sprayed on before bedtime and a warm hot water bottle or pad works wonders for calf cramps which I get mainly at night.
