Hello everyone. 6 days ago I had an ablation procedure to help with a.f. I had a pacemaker fitted ,I was taking 10mg of Bisoprolol and that was stopped. The next day I didnt feel so bad but the following day my legs were wobbly ,I felt spaced out and strange sensation on top if head. I was tested for a stroke ,luckily negative. Another doctor is now weaning me off the Bisoprolol over the next 8 days. Just hope it works !

I could imagine anyone having side effects after stopping a daily dose of 10mg Bisoprolol suddenly. Sounds like a crazy thing to do! Thank goodness you've now been told to ween yourself off of it, it certainly sounds a far better option.

What is this drug used for as far as AF

It reduces the heart rate and BP.

It was the Ablate part of pace and ablate.

You can feel some of those sensations anyway post Ablation. Definitely check the leaflet as Bob says, and weaning off the meds is a good idea. Two shocks to your body - no wonder you're feeling rough? Are you on anticoagulants too? You don't say. You can also call the AF Association weekdays and they're very helpful.
