To my recollection I have never heard that symptom mentioned on this forum. If I were you I would want to discuss this with my GP.

I'm with Jean on this one Alph.

"just a light steady pounding"

And

"2 days ago i started getting regulsr needle pricks in the left side of my hrt region"

For sure I would contact your GP and mention these symptoms. I'm sure you'll be ok but for peace of mind (and to play safe) it's worth a chat with your GP. I would suggest calling the surgery and asking for a call back. Theres no harm done doing this and least you'll maybe have some idea of what's going on.

If it gets worse (you could do this regardless) call 111 and have a chat with them.

Thanks everyone for your support. Today I have been clear of those sharp needles. I f it starts again over the weekend i will def get the doc on to it . Im also getting nausea at 4 in the morning so i have to get up. Helps with a cup of tea and improves after breakfast but it does rob me of sleep

Well I get them but they appear in different areas. Sometimes my chest, other times my head, trunk. They can be so strong they bring me too my knees. Mine is suspected hormonal fluctuations. It’s a guess by the medical fraternity but neurologist and cardiologist didn’t have an answer so GP wanted to refer me to an endocrinologist. I said I’d wait until EP stabilised my aFIB.
