Weird upper arm beats

I’m sorry if this seems a strange one. Last night I could feel my upper left arm beating hard and erratically! I checked my pulse in wrist and in my neck and it appeared to be beating in rhythm and I did not have that feeling that I was in AF it was just my upper arm was misbehaving. I managed a little sleep as anxiety was beginning to take over and it seemed ok when I woke but now it’s gone off on one again and is pulsing hard and uneven!! Anyone experienced this? Very weird sensation!!

Your arteries are all connected and will all experience the same pulses from your heart. They have no muscles with which to pulse so I supect that what you are experiencing is muscle spasm maybe caused by laying on your arm in a strange way.

Could it possibly be a muscle spasm and not related to the heart?
