Day 13 update

Made it through my first day back at work. Everyone was so helpful to ensure that I did not over do it. I am blessed with amazing bosses and coworkers. I definitely feel my tired hanging ( lol that’s a Texas saying 😂) which I expected.

Found myself not even thinking about my heart for once. What a wonderful feeling. I am still having ectopics but not as bad as before the ablation. I am very hopeful about my ablation experience at the moment.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Dona

Dona I had my first day back at work well, in my case rather working from home, but I did a full day. I was rather tired in the afternoon but it’s good doing something else than lying in bed binge watching. .. In the evening the ectopics came back. Not a surprise. I tried thoroughly the breathing exercise, twice for 5 mins, not a lot of joy. Finally my heart seems to settle down now. I just got some Magnesium from the pharmacy however I doubt that would the that effective...?

I worked from home last week and did a lot of binge watching myself. I found myself thinking about how I feel more than I needed too. So going back to the office was a good distraction. I am glad that your heart has settled. It’s distressing when nothing seems to calm them, I definitely know how you feel. I have also purchased some magnesium taurate. I haven’t started it yet. I want to wait to see how my healing process goes without a supplement. If they persist or get worse I will start taking it. My EP doesn’t have me on any medication at the moment and I am excited that I am able tolerate not taking any. I have heard and read good things about magnesium. It may help.

My ectopics died down in week 3. Keep looking after yourself as much as work allows - plenty of rest when you get home and maybe a short walk. Fingers crossed for you. Sometimes NOT focusing on the AF etc is what we need isn't it? If you enjoy your work I think that makes a difference too.
