Hi had my Ablation 8 weeks ago,had horrible reflux, found my appetite has subsided which has resulted in weight loss.

I am quite tiny anyway so not sure if it’s normal?

Has this happened to anyone else !

I've had three ablations and didn't lose my appetite after any of them. How are you feeling, other than not wanting to eat much?

I wonder if you've just become used to eating less because of the reflux you had. How is that now and are you still taking tablets to help cure it?

Just a word of warning, I found that eating yogurt aggravated my reflux.

Other things that had an effect on my soreness was fat and vinegar(hidden in a lot if things, including baked beans). Magnesium too, so I now take that mid breakfast along with my Warfarin.

Yes, I have had the exact same issue. Felt quite sick after the second ablation....esophagus was really giving me a hard time....I lost 20 lbs after the 2nd ablation and being petite frame to begin with I am now down to 84 lbs. I have been trying to gain that weight back for 3 years and just can't seem to gain an ounce, except for when my calves and ankles are swollen.

I keep mentioning probable remedies to reflux but haven’t seen if it has helped people if anyone has actually tried what Dr. Sarah Myhill in Wales says is often a solution. Drugs apparently can only make things worse. Search Gord or Gerd and her name.
