Blood clot

My blood clot was in my arm. Seems most are in the legs. Any one else have one that was in arm? unprovoked

Sorry you lost me there. Last worry was dizziness . How did you discover you had a blood clot in your arm?

Sorry the dizziness I believe came from the blood thinner I am on. I have had a blood clot now for a month.

No - I got one in my bowel and got ischaemic bowel so now on anticoagulants early as I’m 56.

I was very lucky in that my bowel repaired itself after a week in hospital.

I think somebody posted here recently that AF at night reduces blood pressure and if you are also lying on your arm awkwardly the heart may not be strong enough to pump it through increasing the chance of a clot; but I guess your arm would wake you up with pins & needles or such like.

I had a blood clot just above the elbow, left arm. One morning the lower part of my left arm was so painful that my hubby took me to A&E. There, they made me undertake a doppler ultrasound and voilà, the clot was found. On the same day the doctors also found a bilateral pulmonary embolism, a tumour in my womb, and a patent foramen ovale (PFO). I had it all! I 😅😅😅😅
