I had the AstraZenica vaccine at 10.00 today and have had my worst tachycardia for over a year, stating at about 16.00. I am wondering if there's anyone else out there with similar experience?

I have had 2 Pfizer vaccinations no problems.
I had Astra Zennica with no problems.
I've had two Pfizer vaccines. I went into AF two days after the first one and still persists. My husband had AZ yesterday and aches all over. However, given the choice, we'd still have the vaccinations.
Hi, I'm having heart palpitations after my 2nd Pfizer shot & was diagnosed with bigeminy/PVCs. I've never had this before. Has your AF resolved yet?
Are you still having symptoms? I'm asking in the hopes mine will resolve without going on meds.
Both my husband and I have had both doses of the Phizer vaccine and in both cases I have had a bad episode of AF about 4 days afterwards. I usually have 3 or 4 episodes a year. As usual when I mentioned it to the doctor when he asked me if I had had any reaction after the first dose he dismissed it as 'not a likely connection' but I beg to differ! It's not the actual medication I think but the fact that my heart objects to anything foreign going into my bloodstream!
Many thanks for all your replies. Maybe there's a few of us experiencing a reaction?
It’s difficult to know. It’s not imposssible that the AF was induced by the stress/anxiety attendant upon having the vaccination. It would be interesting to know how many people here had a vaccination and *didnt* have AF afterwards.
Had my first Pfizer dose yesterday afternoon and no side effects so far.
Had the AZ vaccination first dose on Friday. I’d had a bout of AF two days before and was just pleased it had stopped so I could make my appointment with comfort. All ok first off then developed the shivers and some site pain overnight. Some AF flutter occasionally but feeling much better this morning after taking paracetamol yesterday. Have to say our local centre had everything very well organised- we owe these people a lot.
Back to staying home except for absolutely essential trips - the situation is tragic for so many.
I had my Covid vaccine Wednesday 20 th January and Friday I had a really bad headache and Saturday I got up and felt as if I was going to pass out I sat in my arm chair and it gradually passed after about hour and this morning I feel a bit nauseous and weak and have been wondering if it could be the vaccine but I will still go and get the next one they say you can get side effects for upto 7 days so I hope I don’t get anymore nasty happenings keep safe
I hope things are better for you now. Really appreciate you posting your experience & all the respondents. The ironic thing is for me having had no AF episodes to speak of for nearly 7 years I am more nervous about this vaccination in case it rocks the boat.
I haven't had the vaccination yet, but nothing would stop me having it. We watched a large cavalcade of cars and motorbikes all bedecked with the Saltire. They were there in honour of our neighbour who died on New Year's Eve with Covid. Everyone is in shock.
I had the Pfizer 8th Jan, sore arm for a couple of days, then nausea very lethargic ,couldn't get out of bed for a day then gradually took a few days to get back to normal. But no AF. I am concerned however about the recent controversy about when the second dose should be given because I am a working nurse. I must add that I am very sensitive to all types of medication but what's the alternative?x
I am having my first dose this afternoon. I am keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well.
I went into a very chaotic fast AF 5 days after my Pfizer jab last week. Ended up being cardioverted late at night in A&E. I'm not thinking that this was as a result of the jab, more likely that I was due another episode as my last cardioversion was 11 months ago! Nevertheless it was a very unpleasant episode. Still so pleased to have got my jab so early at 76 though !
I was lucky enough to have two doses of the Pfizer vaccine. No effects after the first, and only a sore arm for a few hours after the second.
Had mine lunch time thursday. Very nervous. But it was fine. Sent into with at teatime over in around 9 hours. So fine thank you. Mine as Pfzalaz
I had AstraZeneca vaccine Thursday. Sore arm Fri Sat. Today lots of ectopics and feeling extremely anxious and fatigued (comes and goes). I have issues with anxiety sometimes anyway and have second cataract op Wed so reason to be concerned. Roads are bad floods etc maybe snow before then.Never thought vaccine being cause andto behonest don't think it is.
Hi all. Had my first Pfizer jab on wed last at 5.0pm. AF started at 11.00pmHad my 150mg Flecanaide followed by 150mg 1 hour later and all clear in a couple of hours. I am convinced that the lead up and stress before the vaccination led to this attack. Felt groggy and a bit light headed following day but now back to normal. Next AF attack. Who knows. Take care all.
Hi, Did your AF eventually stop? I had my 2nd Pfizer dose at 3:00pm yesterday and 5 minutes later had a Tachycardia episode. I rode it out till I took my Flec dose at 7pm last night, but had a few bouts of the Tachycardia after. Felt a episode coming on earlier but got up and busied myself, that seemed to work... for now
I never had ectopics before, until the 2nd Pfizer shot. Wound up in the Emergency Room with shortness of breath and was diagnosed with Bigeminy. All my blood work normal, as well as my BP and oxygen level. I have no idea how long this is going to last! I see my doctor on Tuesday. I see many of you mentioning medication. Do you think there's something to stop these flutters?
