I was looking online for some sugar free biscuits. Found this website, ifoodreal.com. Looks like some really good and healthy recipes for anyone with Afib or anyone who wants to eat healthy. There's a recipe for fudge that has only 3 ingredients. Bananas, coconut oil and cacao. Not cocoa. Cacao. There's a difference. Only downside this fudge has to be kept frozen. Otherwise it will become a soft mess. Who cares if it's healthy. Anyway thought some of you here might be interested. And I think some recipes can be switched to metric for those who live outside of the USA. Hope you all find the site helpful. Hoping you all are having a Merry Christmas! Big winter storm in parts of the USA. It was 37° here in Central Florida this morning and tomorrow morning may be below freezing. Brrr. Everyone take care.

Merry Christmas to you too Belinda.

I’ve just been speaking to my daughter and grandchildren in New Zealand, discussing our Christmases ... theirs is like a whole different world! No lockdowns or social distancing there so life is normal, and their weather is glorious, while here in the UK we have some wet windy weather on the way. Alright for some innit!

I love sweet things, but find that by avoiding sugar I avoid AF episodes. I’ll have a look at that website. I made some chocolate eclairs the other day using xylitol (a very small amount) ... just as nice as ones made with sugar 😋

Take care and stay safe x

So nice New Zealand is normal. I'm wondering if it will ever be in the USA. 😕Yes Christmas is different in other places. Freezing cold here in Central Florida this morning. Furnace on all night non stop. And this is a tropical climate😞. But mother nature does as she pleases.

I remember someone said on here that he used date sugar. There is a brownie recipe in the website that uses dates as a sweetener and they are made with black beans. No flour. I've seen black beans used but never tried it myself. The recipe got good reviews. The woman who has the website is originally from the Ukraine but is living in Canada. She has many good sounding recipes and very healthy.

You and your family take care too!

Thank you for that; I am always on the lookout for sugar-free recipes, although my nephew sent us a pack of various flavoured Scottish tablet, gorgeous but you couldn't get more sugar if you tried! Hope you had a lovely Christmas too, stay safe.

If you have problems with coconut oil you can substitute.

I just took a look at the recipes on the site and was pleasantly pleased about the variety of the recipes, the organization, the ramifications , and the substitution suggestions in addition to the low sugar content. It's also a very good site for the Keto conscious. I was also surprised to discover that the author lives in the same part of the planet as I do --lower British Columbia although she is on the island. Thank you for the link; I will be using it in the New Year.
