Bad skipped beats

Anybody else have skipped beats all day everyday and night? I suffered with a fibre till 3 years ago when I had cryoblation but then July this year my heart tarted beating different than when I was in afib. Heart pounding with missing beats and then speeding up and slowing down sometimes feel like my heart is gonna stop. Was took by ambulance and I was light headed from it. They changed my medication but I'm having these all day and night and have few the past few weeks. They said I could have another ablation which I think I'm gonna have to take them up on. I feel like I'm losing my mind and I have 2 kids to look after to. Turned 40 this year but feel 90 at the moment. I've tried breathing exercises etc but when my neck is bumping the way it does I feel sick as a pig. Just had enough 😭

Commiserations. Ectopic (missed) beats made me feel terrible, almost wishing I had the AF back, only almost mind you.

Judging purely from the multiple posts about experiencing ectopics after ablation (just put in search box to see how common in is) I would say you may get a lot of answers.

I had them just for a short while after RF ablation and always when I had overdone things or I was stressed. Resting longer, more often, managing stress and breathing exercises did it for me but it seems for many, they are a lot more troublesome.

Magnesium supplementation helps some, may be worth reading some of the older threads to see if you can gain some insights as to what may help you.

I know BobD had several ablations for multiple ectopics.

Yes I have them constantly, last monitor readings got my cardio a bit bothered ! I don't notice them all the time thankfully. Dr wants me to increase my BB which I tried but didn't work and made me to squiffy so I've gone back to original dose and will just live with it.

My heartfelt commiseration also! Same as C Dreamer for me, driving me spare at the moment ,missed ,added and short runs of faster beats 24 four hours every day,I had an ablation for Atrial Flutter 2 years ago and have been symptom free of flutter and AF strangely ,do think stress ECT don't help though, must be tough having to manage the children , Covid and Christmas whilst having ectopic,I find the more scared you feel the worse they are, try to ignore them and focus on something else that grabs your concentration .Oh yea give the kids a hug is always good, best wishes to you ,you will be ok! I may try magnesium when I have asked the doc if I can! Happy Christmas

Hi the only thing is that I lost my shop in 2019 left me in alot of debt and stressing over that made me ill and then 2020 well with covid and home schooling the kids was stressful to. I'm getting these 24 hrs a day now I wake everymorning between 4 430am and my heart is having a party.

Hi all well I've decided to email cardioligst next week I just can't take anymore. My heart is beating everywhere as im writing this the pulse in my neck is throbbing which makes me feel sick its evry min of the day every day no break my chest is up and down like a yoyo. I'm rock bottom as I just don't get much sleep as it keeps me awake, or wakes me up its ruining my life. Sick of feeling tired. When I wqnt to rest I can't as the left side of my chest is just irratic 😭 the medication I'm on as done nothing since they changed it last July. Had a 24 hr monitor on but it came showing all the ectopics, but yes there not life threatening but they am taking away time I have wih my kids. So 2nd ablation it is im dreading it x sorry for rant im just so low x

I would suggest trying magnesium and making sure your electrolytes are balances like your potassium, vitD, and Calcium. Definitely look into a solid fish oil supplement as well. Deep breathing, sunlight and proper supplementation can help. Especially mastering your breathing
